Our services start around 1:30 Pm and are 1-1.5 hours long.
Our services are rich with music, Scripture, and prayer. There will usually be a message for both children and adults. And we usually receive the Lord's Supper on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month - but sometimes special services or schedules change that a bit.
Some people come to our services dressed formally out of reverence for what happens. Others come dressed casually because they know they can come as they are. Whether you're dressed formally or casually - you're welcome to join us.
Our congregation tends to reflect Airdrie's young community. But we have older adults, too. And we're fortunate to be able to welcome residents from Bethany to our services. Not only do we get to help them participate in regular Church activities, but we also get to grow in encountering people who have special care needs. Our hope is that our children will grow up being familiar with care facilities and the people who live there.
Maybe as no real surprise, we have been requested by Bethany Airdrie to discontinue holding our weekly worship service at their site, until further notice.
This is in response to the recently confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Alberta.
We are in full agreement that Bethany’s priority is the health and safety of the residents and staff.
Managing visitors to the site is an essential part of protecting the vulnerable population and care team from those who are displaying cold or flu like symptoms, or who may have traveled to high risk areas, as defined by travel.gc.ca.
